Is it practical to lead an idle life? Every living creature - man or animal/insects strive to carry on their work till they breathe last. Your own example- honey bees - they never sit idle and enjoy the fruits of their labor, they work relentlessly although men are the major beneficiary of their hard work.

The question is relevant, looking from a particular angle. But what I meant was that the leisure to simply sit and enjoy the nature in whatever form - a gift only proper to human beings in a narrow sense - is something most people don't make use of. To worry about work and its fruits has to have an end, at least for those who can afford it. This has nothing to do with laziness, but with fruitful enjoyment of inner silence, without which life ends up as a mere struggle for existence.
As for me, even during the time I had to work hard for a living, it had always been enjoyed by me - or I managed to avoid or ignore those elements which were not enjoyable. My occupations were never profit oriented. I have worked many years for very meagre wages, but on the other hand I've also been paid amply for what I did at other times just for the pleasure of it. All in all, I've simply managed to enjoy the time the whole life long. The reason behind it, I think, was that I never had any ambitions nor ends to reach. Where I was, was also my goal!
