It seems Catholic Authorities in Asia are at long last acknowledging that they have a problem of sexual abuse within the Church. Probably the awareness is dawned by the developments that are happening in the west. They are obviously concerned about the financial implications of similar legal threats happening here.
While it is certainly a good sign, a report says the Conference organizers refused access to journalists attempting to cover the event.
These cassocks-clad criminals believe transparency is unchristian!
