It was on a 6th November (1988) the Solidarity leaders threatened broad protests including strikes unless the government reverses its decision to close the Lenin Shipyard in Gdansk. This eventually lead to further dramatic developments that practically ended Communism in Europe. Communists leaders, like the present day Catholic Church authorities in Kerala, thought they could for ever get away with their dictatorial style of ruling . They were wrong.
On another 6th November (1999) Australian voters decided to keep the British Queen (as their monarch), but decided not to become a republic.
I hope our Blog (which is nothing more than a very humble beginning) will help many Catholics to keep Jesus Christ (as their saviour) but not give in to the religious terrorism.
I have enjoyed my responsibility as the Administrator of this Blog. Please do not hesitate to point out mistakes. I am not infallible!

ഞാന്‍ അല്മായശബ്ദം ബ്ലോഗില്‍ യാദൃചികമായി വന്നതാണ്. കളരിക്കല്‍ ചാക്കോച്ച ന്‍റെ പുസ്തകങ്ങള്‍ വായിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ഒരു സത്യാനേഷണ ത്തിലേക്കുള്ള കാല്‍വെയ്പ്പായി എനിക്ക് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടു. അന്നുമുതല്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ സുഹൃത്തുക്ക ളുമായി. ഒരിക്കല്‍ അല്‍മായ ശബ്ദത്തിന്‍റെ ബ്ലോഗില്‍ ഞാന്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലും എഴുതുവാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിച്ചു. ഭാഷാപരമായ കഴിവുകള്‍ എനിക്കില്ലങ്കിലും ആശയങ്ങള്‍ നിരത്തുവാന്‍ പറ്റിയ വേദിയാണെന്നു എനിക്കുതോന്നി. അന്നാണ് എന്നെപ്പോലെ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നവരും ഈ

കൂടെകൂടെ പ്രോത്സാഹനവും തന്നിരുന്നു.
ഇന്ന് അല്മായശബ്ദം ബ്ലോഗുമായി എന്തോ ഒരു ആത്മീയബന്ധം പോലെ തോന്നിപോവുന്നു. അനേകര്‍
ബൈബിള്‍ കൊട്ടിഘോഷിക്കുന്നവര്‍ എന്നെ
മതംമാറ്റാന്‍ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ ഞാന്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത് എന്‍റെ അമ്മ എനിക്കു
പറഞ്ഞു തന്നമതമാണ്‌. ആ സഭയുടെ
നവീകരണയജ്ഞത്തില്‍ പങ്കു ചേരേണ്ടത്
എന്‍റെയുംകൂടി ആവശ്യമെന്നു തോന്നി. പുരോഹിതരുടെ കൊള്ളരുതായ്മകള്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചാല്‍ ഈ മതത്തെ വീണ്ടും
ദൈവികമാര്‍ഗത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കാം.
ഈ സംഘടനയിലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ഓരോ
നിലയില്‍ യുക്തിചിന്തകരും പേരുള്ള എഴുത്തുകാരും കവികളുമൊക്കെയെന്നതില്‍ അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നു. എന്‍റെയും ചിന്തകള്‍ അവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം മുമ്പോട്ട്‌ പോകുവാന്‍ പ്രചോദനവും തരുന്നു. ഇനിയും ലക്ഷോപലക്ഷ ഹിറ്റുകളുമായി ഈ ശബ്ദം കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന
ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള മലയാളികളുടെ
കര്‍ണ്ണങ്ങളില്‍ പതിക്കട്ടെയെന്നു ആശംസിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ശബ്ദത്തിന്‍റെ എല്ലാ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്കും എന്‍റെ വിജയാശംസകള്‍.
