ബൈബിള്‍ അനുസരിച്ചാണ് സഭ പോവുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ പുരോഹിതന് വിവാഹം കഴിക്കുകയോ കഴിക്കാതെയോ ഇരിക്കാം. വിവാഹിതനായ പത്രോസും അവിവാഹിതനായിരുന്ന പൌലോസും ബൈബിളില്‍ ഉണ്ട്. ദൈവികസഭയെങ്കില്‍ നല്ല കുടുംബ ജീവിതം നയിക്കുവാന്‍ കഴിവുള്ള വൈദികര്‍ക്കു വികാരംഅമര്‍ത്തി സഭാ സേവനം ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ ദൈവം കൊടുത്ത ദാനങ്ങളെ നിരസിക്കുന്നതു ദൈവനിഷേധമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭ ലോകത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ തൊഴില്‍ കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരു കൊര്‍പ്പറേറ്റ് സ്ഥാപനമാണ്‌. പണവും പെണ്ണും കുണ്ടനും സൌജന്യമായി കിട്ടുന്ന ലോകത്തിലെ ഏകതൊഴിലാലയം. പിന്നെ സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്കും പുരുഷന്മാര്‍ക്കും സൌജന്യമായ താമസ സൌകര്യവും. പാരമ്പര്യത്തില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന സഭക്ക് വൈദികരുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ എങ്ങനെ വേണമെങ്കിലും തീരുമാനമെടുക്കാം. The Video Interview with Padmabhooshan Justice K T Thomas was excellent. Kudos to Sneha Sandesham and Alex Kaniamparambil for taking all pains to arrange an interview with such an eminent personality. It is, indeed a great service.
The views expressed by the Justice on Church Act and the Knanaya Endogamy are sure to convince any right thinking person. His words of wisdom are definitely going to strengthen the faithfuls' struggles for the Church Act and against the practice of Knanaya Endogamy.
However, his opinion on the issue of Celibacy of Clerics appeared to be rather irresolute. Anyone who listens to the Video would definitely wish him to have some more interest and to reflect upon this issue too. Definitely that is also a human right issue. In this connection I would like to recommend him to read a recently published book 'Laingikathayum Pourohithyavum' by Shri Chacko Kalarickal.
